★ A letter from Corona Virus-- 코로나가 인류에게 보낸 편지 -- The earth whispered but you did not hear. ▪︎지구가 속삭였지만 당신들은 듣지 않았습니다. The earth spoke but you did not listen. ▪︎지구가 소리를 내 이야기했지만 당신들은 듣지 않았습니다. The earth screamed but you turned a deaf ear. ▪︎지구가 소리쳐 외쳤을 때 당신들은 오히려 귀를 막았습니다. And so I was born... ▪︎그래서 내가 태어났습니다. I was not born to punish you... ▪︎나는 당신들을 벌 주기 위해 태어난 것이 아닙니다. I was born to awaken you. ▪︎나는 당신들을 깨우기 위해 태어났습니다. The earth cried out for help... ▪︎지구는 도와 달라 외쳐왔습니다. Massive flooding. But you didn't listen. ▪︎대규모 홍수로 외쳐도 당신들은 듣지 않았고, Burning fires. But you didn't listen. ▪︎큰 산불들로 외쳐도 당신들은 듣지 않았고, Strong hurricanes. But you didn't listen. Terrifying Tornadoes. But you didn't listen. *강력한 폭풍과 돌풍에도 당신들은 들으려 하지 않았습니다. You still don't listen to the earth when Ocean animals are dying due to pollutants in the waters. ▪︎해양 오염으로 바다 생물이 죽어가도 당신들은 여전히 지구의 외침을 듣지 않습니다. Glaciers melting at an alarming rate. ▪︎빙하가 녹아내리는 심각한 경고에도, Severe drought. ▪︎혹독한 가뭄에도, You didn't listen to how much negativity the earth is receiving... ▪︎지구가 얼마나 심각한 부정적 영향을 받고 있는지 들으려 하지 않았습니다. Non-stop wars. ▪︎전쟁이 끊이지 않고, Non-stop greed. ▪︎욕심은 멈추지 않고, You just kept going on with your life... No matter how much hate there was.. No matter how many killings daily... ▪︎무수한 증오에도, 매일 수 많은 생명이 죽어가도 당신들은 그저 당신들의 삶을 이어갈 뿐이었습니다. It was more important to get that latest iPhone than worry about what the earth was trying to tell you. ▪︎당신들에게는 지구가 보여주는 수많은 징후에 관심을 갖기보다는 최신 아이폰을 갖는 것이 더 중요했습니다. But now I am here. ▪︎그러나 이제 내가 여기 있습니다. And I've made the world stop in it's tracks. ▪︎그리고 이제 나는 세계가 돌아가는 그 궤도를 멈추게 했습니다. I've made YOU finally listen. ▪︎내가 마침내 당신들에게 듣게 만들었습니다. I've made you take refuge. ▪︎당신들로 대피하게 만들었고, I've made you stop thinking about materialistic things. ▪︎더 이상 물질적인 것에만 집중하지 못하게 만들었습니다. Now you are like the earth... ▪︎이제 당신들은 지구가 어떤 상태인지 느낄 수 있게 되었습니다. You are only worried about YOUR survival. ▪︎생존에 대한 진정한 염려를 알게 되었습니다. How does that feel? ▪︎그것을 느낄 수 있습니까? I give you fever like the fires burn on earth. ▪︎지구 온난화가 심해지는 것처럼 당신들에게 고열을 일으켰고, I give you respiratory issues... like the pollution filling the earth's air. ▪︎지구의 대기가 오염으로 가득 찬 것처럼 당신들에게 호흡곤란을 가져다 주었습니다. I give you weakness... as the earth weakens every day. ▪︎지구가 매일 약해지는 것 같이 당신들에게 연약함을 주었습니다. I took away your comforts...Your outings. The things you would use to forget about the planet and its pain. And I made the world stop... ▪︎세계를 멈추게 만들어 당신들로 지구와 그 아픔을 잊게 만들었던 편안함과 즐기던 외출을 당신들로부터 가져갔습니다. And now... ▪︎그리고 이제…. China & India have better air quality, the skys are clear blue because factories are not spewing pollution into the earth's air. ▪︎중국과 인도의 하늘이 깨끗해지고 공기의 질이 달라졌습니다. 단지 공장들이 더 이상 오염물질을 지구의 대기에 내뿜지 않게 된 것으로 이러한 일이 일어났습니다. The water in Venice is clean and dolphins are being seen again, because the gondola boats that polluted the water are not being used. ▪︎베니스의 물이 깨끗해지고 돌고래들이 다시 보이기 시작했습니다. 단지 곤돌라가 멈추는 것만으로 이러한 일이 일어났습니다. YOU are having to take time to reflect on what is important in YOUR life. ▪︎당신들은 비로소 당신들의 삶에 진정으로 중요한 것이 무엇인지 새겨볼 수 있는 시간을 갖게 되었습니다. Again I am not here to punish you.. I am here to Awaken you... ▪︎나는 여기에 당신들을 벌 주러 와 있는 것이 아닙니다. 당신들을 깨우기 위해 온 것입니다. When all this is over and I am gone... ▪︎내가 떠나고 이 모든 것이 지나간 후에…. Please remember these moments.. ▪︎제발 이 시간들을 기억해 주세요. Listen to the earth. ▪︎지구의 이야기를 들어주세요. Listen to your soul. ▪︎당신 영혼의 소리에 귀 기울여 주세요. Stop Polluting the earth. ▪︎더 이상 지구를 오염시키는 것을 멈춰 주세요. Stop Fighting amongst each other. ▪︎싸움을 멈추고, Stop caring about materialistic things. ▪︎더 이상 물질적인 데 매달리지 말아 주세요. And start loving your neighbours. ▪︎그리고 이제 이웃 사랑하기를 시작해 보세요. Start caring about the earth and all its creatures. ▪︎지구와 그 안의 모든 생물을 보살펴 주세요. Start believing in a Creator. ▪︎그리고 마지막으로 창조주를 인정하세요.
